Directions:
We are recommending that everyone use
Rt 84 to Exit 7B (Rt 300) to avoid the traffic lights and congestion
going through Newburgh on the surface streets.
From the North on Rt 9W:
Pass the old Strictly Ballroom
location and continue down 9W. At the third light (1.6 miles, Alexis
Diner is on your right) turn Right. Get in the Left lane and at the next
light (.2 miles) turn Left onto Rt 84 West. Continue to Exit 7B (2.2
miles) Rt 300. At the light turn left and follow Rt 300 South
(about 2.0 miles) to a T intersection where you turn left. You'll
continue on Rt 300 South (2.4 miles) to 153 Temple Hill Road, which will be on your Right. See photo
below.
From Rt 84 Westbound:
Take Rt 84 to Exit 7B, Rt 300. At the light turn left and follow Rt 300 South (about 2.0 miles) to a T
intersection where you turn left. You'll continue on Rt 300 South (2.4
miles) to 153 Temple Hill Road, which will be on your Right. See photo
below.
From Rt 84 Eastbound:
Take Rt 84 to Exit 7B, Rt 300. At the light turn right and follow Rt 300 South (about 2.0 miles) to a T
intersection where you turn left. You'll continue on Rt 300 South (2.4
miles) to 153 Temple Hill Road, which will be on your Right. See photo
below.
From NYS Thruway Exit 17:
After the new toll booth stay in the
center and follow the signs to Rt 300, 17K. At the light turn right
and follow Rt 300 South (about 2.0 miles) to a T intersection where you turn
left. You'll continue on Rt 300 South (2.4 miles) to 153 Temple Hill
Road, which will be on your Right. See photo below.
From the South on Surface Roads (Rts 32, 94, 9W):
Make your way to the 5
Corners in Vails Gate. Follow Rt 300 North (.3 miles) to 153
Temple Hill Road, which will be on your Left, just past the
Strober King building supply and before the Iron Works. See
photo below.
This is the sign by the road at the
entrance.
Coming from the north on Route 300
you will see a sign for Vail's Gate and soon cross a set of Railroad
tracks. Shortly after on the right you will see a green sign for the
Minuteman Tavern and Catering. Immediately after that you will see
the Speed Limit 40 sign (picture below). The entrance for Strictly
Ballroom is just before the Speed Limit 40 sign. If the front lot
is full, there is additional parking around the back of the building
